Brand Creation for luxury jewellery brand

A small family diamond retailer based in London’s
Regent Street formerley known as A.Abram
Jewellers was looking to commercialise it’s brand
and appeal to a wider market.

The Brief
To create a new brand identity along with everything
thing else that goes with the new look and feel. The
brand needs to appeal to a wider market of affordable
luxury jewellery. The logo needs to be something that
can work across a broad range of mediums. A symbol
that can work as a logo tag for the jewellery would
also be nice. Prices range from as little as £60
going up to as much as £7,000. The packaging needs
to be high end, luxurious and should add value to the
experience for the person receiving the jewellery.

The M shaped logo was inspired by my favourite
Mishanto piece, the green amethyst pendant from the
Talya range. Whilst designing the logo I was fully aware
that it needed to be applied as a single colour cut out
in solid gold logo tags.

The packaging is made up of three parts. The outer
box, inner pouch with double doors, a magnetic disc
closure all wrapped in luxurious white leather with
the logo debossed on to the leather disc. The inside is
lined with white suede and the double doors are lightly
padded to protect the jewellery. Inside this pouch
sits a white suede pad for the jewellery to sit on.
These come in three different sizes. The client was
extremely pleased with these as it fulfils the brief of
being different, luxurious and provides that experience
of anticipation for the customer when unwrapping
the packaging.

Along with all this, the e-commerce responsive website
matches the look and feel, as well the email marketing,
the look book, information and care cards, and absolutely
everything else that goes along with it.

The brand was launched with a star studded launch
party in Aqua Nueva in Soho attended by celebrities
and press as well as the Mishanto team. It was a great
night and definitely worth all the hard work!
